The complex offers 3 different secure auto-guided trails. The shortest is the one called “Spectacles bear” with a 15 min. walk. To get to know the one named “Bosque Nublador” (rain forest) you may need about half an hour and it has a varied flora and fauna. If you want to enjoy a great view of Loja and surroundings, you must tale the Mirador trail taking 90 min. returning the same way or about 3 hours making all the way round. Although trails can be done without a guide person, guidance service is also offered by the park guardian.

Professional bilingual guides are also authorized to take tourists to the trail known as Sendero de los Compadres which takes 2 days with a 5 hour walk each day. You will be rewarded with one of the most astonishing views ever. Done only during the months of October, November or December and only 4 people are authorized per guide.
